We offer appointments with our clinical team at both Crymych and Newport. If you need to see a specific clinician or require a particular service, you may be asked to attend either site.
To help us direct you to the right person, our reception team will ask for a brief reason for your appointment. This helps ensure you are booked with the most appropriate clinician. In some cases, the receptionist may advise a different course of action — for example, contacting an optician or dentist, or seeking urgent care if needed

By phone — call the Practice between 8am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday
In person — visit either site
Through the NHS Wales App — check or cancel appointments online
Some appointments can be booked online, but for most queries we recommend speaking with the reception team so you are booked with the right clinician
Our GPs offer both face‑to‑face and telephone consultations. We have a number of urgent appointments available each day, and routine appointments can be booked in advance. Please note that clinicians have a limited number of appointments each day to ensure all patient contacts can be managed safely

If your problem can be safely managed over the phone, you may be offered a telephone appointment. The clinician will call you as close to the booked time as possible. Please keep your phone nearby and ensure you are able to speak privately.
We experience a high volume of calls between 8am and 9am. If your query is routine, please consider calling after 9am when the lines are quieter.
