Home visits are available for patients who are too unwell or unable to attend the Practice because of illness or reduced mobility. Most patients can be seen more safely and effectively in the surgery, where we have full access to equipment and support, but we understand this isn’t always possible.
If you think you may need a home visit, please contact the Practice as early in the day as you can. This helps us plan our visits and ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
When you call, the receptionist will ask for a brief description of your symptoms. This information is passed to a GP, who will decide the most appropriate action. This may include:
A home visit
A telephone assessment
Advice on the safest and quickest way to receive care
