The Practice feels it is vital to support the future generations of doctors in gaining experience of working in a rural GP Practice.
GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors who are training in General Practice and are normally with the Practice from 6 to 12 months.

Foundation Year Two Doctors are fully qualified doctors who are with the Practice for 4 months to experience how Primary Care operates.

Medical Students The Practice hosts final year medical students from both Cardiff and Swansea Medical Schools, this can be from one week to 2 months.
This is excellent opportunity for medical students to experience Primary Care first hand.
After a short period of induction all Doctors start seeing patients in their own surgeries across both our sites. They are supervised by the Practice GPs working that day.
All of the above will normally sit in with one of the clinical team for a few weeks and will then start seeing patients under supervision.
