We are sad to announce that Nerys Nicholas, Practice Nurse, leaves us on 14th November to take up a new position. Nerys will be missed by the team and the Practice Staff, and we wish Nerys well for the future.
Details regarding additions to our Nursing team will be shared here in due course.
October 2024
In October we welcome Branwen, Swansea Medical School on placement at the Practice.
Vaccination Clinics
Flu Vaccine clinics are running across both Practice sites during October and into November, if you are eligible and would like the flu vaccination please contact the Practice to arrange an appointment.
Covid Autumn Booster vaccines will be offered to eligible patients, depending on availability. Our reception and nursing teams will be able to advise further.
Local community pharmacies may also be able to offer the Covid Booster.
September 2024
In September we welcome Ffion, Swansea Medical School and Rosie, 5th year medical Student from Cardiff to the Practice.
Dr Norhan Shaykhon, Foundation Year 1 Doctor, has joined the Practice to gain experience in Primary Care. Dr Shaykhon will have appointments at Newport Surgery.
August 2024
12th August 2024 We have begun inviting patients for the flu vaccine, our clinics will start in October 2024, please see our Flu Vaccinations page for more information.
7th August 2024 We welcome Dr Bethan Green and Dr Lucy Chibueze GP Registrars who join the Practice on 7th August as part of the General Practice Training.
Dr Green and Dr Chibueze will have a short period of induction and will then have appointments available on both sites.
Week of 5th August. We have said goodbye to Dr Ananda Wickramaarachchi - GP Registrar since August 2023, and Dr Lewis Hancock Foundation Year Two Doctors, with us since April 2024. We wish them both well as they move onto new placements.
